Heather has opened a Gallery and Studio in Denver, Colorado at 43 W. 11 Ave. Being far more that just a gallery, this working studio will host dozens of classes as well as open studio days, creative film nights and more.

Located in Denver's creatively thriving Golden Triangle neighborhood, the studio is around the corner from the Denver Art Museum where Heather will be one of the many local fiber artists playing a part in their new fiber based show Spun: Adventures in Textile, this May through September 2013.

Wild Heather Designs would not be possible without the creative support of Haley Montano and IV Anderson. They're both excited about being involved with the creation of the new Wild Heather Gallery and Studio. They keep their noses to the grindstone, writing new patterns, making art, developing new classes and dying the beautiful fabrics and embellishments Wild Heather offers to their valued customers.

Always daring to be different, Heather Thomas is an accomplished autodidact who has been studying art with an emphasis on color theory and design principles for the last 17 years. Her current passion is in surface design and she loves coming up with new ways to add color to cloth and other fibers. Her goal is not only to grow as and artist and as a person but also to teach others about the freedom and satisfaction of expressing ones humanity through art.
